This year’s Commemorative Lectures and Introductions are now available on the 2022 Kyoto Prize Special Website, featuring Prof. Carver Mead of Caltech for pioneering the development of VLSI circuitry in a world of growing “fabless” engineering, Prof. Bryan Grenfell of Princeton for his innovations in integrating of pathogen evolution and epidemic understanding (including Covid -19), and international Indian tabla player, Zakir Hussain whose genre-defying collaborations have brought global appreciation to the instrument and Indian music.
