24th Annual Opening Ceremonies & Scholarship Gala

Honoring the 39th Kyoto Prize Laureates - John Pendry in Advanced Technology, Paul F. Hoffman in Basic Sciences and William Forsythe in Arts & Philosophy. The 2025 major Kyoto scholarship recipients will be recognized from San Diego and Tijuana. Scholarships are valued up to $10,000 in the U.S. and 100,000 pesos in Mexico.

*Please note that this year’s Gala format has changed – we are excited to host a heavy hors d'oeuvre reception at Zentrl (formerly The Lot across the street) followed by the main program in The Conrad’s beautiful Concert Hall. Dessert will be served afterwards.
